Biography
Jim Lemley is an American film and television producer. Born in Seattle, he studied marketing at the University of Idaho before entering the film industry in the early 1990s. He worked at Icon Productions, where he rose to become CEO of its international arm, Icon International, based in London, contributing to films including Maverick (1994), Payback (1999) and We Were Soldiers (2002).
Since leaving Icon in 2001 to work independently, Lemley has produced Wanted (2008), 9 (2009) and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012), often in collaboration with director Timur Bekmambetov. He has also served as executive producer on Red Eye (2005), Tristan & Isolde (2006) and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007). He is based in Paris.
