Biography
Jim Vallely is an American television writer and producer. Born James Vallely on 30 August 1954 in East Brunswick, New Jersey, he graduated from East Brunswick High School in 1972 and attended Middlesex County College and New York University before moving to California in 1982.
His writing credits include ten episodes of The Golden Girls, his first paid work as a writer, as well as The John Larroquette Show, My Wife and Kids, Two and a Half Men and Arrested Development (2003). On the latter he also served as a producer; his work on the series earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Writers Guild of America Award. He was executive producer and co-creator of Running Wilde.
