Biography

Jo Katsaras is a costume designer. Born in Limassol, Cyprus, in 1966, she moved to South Africa at the age of five and trained at the National School of Arts in Johannesburg.

She received an Emmy nomination for her work on the HBO/BBC series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency (2008–2009), whose pilot was directed by Anthony Minghella. Her other credits include the television series Fear the Walking Dead (2017–2021) and The Leftovers (2015), and the films Racing Stripes (2005), Half of a Yellow Sun (2013), Sergio (2020), Find Me Falling (2024) and How to Make a Killing (2026). She was also nominated for a Costume Designers Guild of America award and received the Madame Figaro Woman of the Year award in Cyprus in 2010.
