Biography
Joanna Cappuccilli Lovetti is an editor and occasional director, also credited as Joanna Lovetti or Joanna C. Lovetti. She began her career in the early 1980s with assistant editor roles on feature films including The Star Chamber (1983) and Two of a Kind (1983), and worked in the sound department on Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
Her television editing credits include episodes of My So-Called Life (1994), where she also served as supervising editor, Earth 2 (1994), The Sopranos (1999), Felicity (1999–2000) and American Dreams (2002–2005). She directed an episode of Felicity (1998) and the short film When It Clicks (1998). Lovetti has received one Primetime Emmy Award.
