Biography
Job ter Burg is a Dutch film editor. He graduated in 1996 from the editing programme at the Nederlandse Film en Televisie Academie, having previously studied Theatre, Film and Television Studies at Utrecht University.
He has maintained long-term collaborations with directors Martin Koolhoven, Paul Verhoeven and Alex van Warmerdam. His credits include Black Book (2006), Borgman (2013), Elle (2016), Brimstone (2016), Benedetta (2021) and The Watchers (2024).
Ter Burg won a Golden Calf for best editing for Tirza (2010) and an International Cinephile Society Award for Elle (2017); he was also nominated for a César for the latter. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors and co-founder of the Netherlands Association of Cinema Editors.
