Biography
Joe Dorsey is an American actor known for supporting roles in film and television. Born on 15 January 1932 in Florida, he began his screen career in the early 1970s.
After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, he played a major role in the independent hit Grizzly (1976). He served as the first president of Georgia's Screen Actors Guild. His credits include Norma Rae (1979), The Great Santini (1979) as Coach Spinks, WarGames (1983) as Conley, Brainstorm (1983) as Hal Abramson, Real Genius (1985) and Bat21 (1988) as Colonel Douglass. Television work includes episodes of Murder, She Wrote, Roots* (1977) and other series.
Dorsey has also been credited as Jack Dorsey.
