Biography
Joe Robert Cole is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He studied at the University of California, Berkeley.
Cole wrote two episodes of the first season of the anthology series American Crime Story (2016), for which he received a Writers Guild of America Award and an Emmy nomination. He co-wrote the screenplays for Black Panther (2018) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) with Ryan Coogler. His other credits include writing and directing the feature All Day and a Night (2020) and directing episodes of Class of '09 (2023).
