Biography
Joel Madison is an American television writer and producer. A former stand-up comedian from Minneapolis, he began his television career writing for the sitcom Roseanne.
He contributed episodes to Roseanne between 1990 and 1992, and later wrote for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1995, also serving as supervising producer on the series. Madison created the sitcom Malcolm & Eddie (1996–2000) and has written for Undeclared (2001) among other shows. He has worked as a consulting producer on series including Crashing (2017) and has taught comedy writing.
