Biography
Joel Murray is an American actor born on 17 April 1963 in Wilmette, Illinois. He is the younger brother of actors Bill Murray, Brian Doyle-Murray and John Murray.
He trained in improvisation in Chicago with Del Close and was a founding member of the Improv Olympic. He performed for five years with The Second City and appeared in numerous television series, including regular roles on Grand, Pacific Station, Love & War, Dharma & Greg and Still Standing.
Murray has recurred on Mad Men as Freddy Rumsen, Shameless as Eddie Jackson and Two and a Half Men. Film roles include The Artist (2011) as Policeman Fire, God Bless America (2011) and the voice of Don in Monsters University (2013).
