Biography
John Battsek is a British film producer born in September 1963. He is a founder of the production company Ventureland and has worked extensively in documentary filmmaking.
His credits include producing or executive producing Searching for Sugar Man (2012), The Imposter (2012), Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom (2015), Listen to Me Marlon (2015), Project Nim (2011), How I Live Now (2013), The Rescue (2021), Beckham (2023), The Deepest Breath (2023), Rising Phoenix (2020) and The Last First: Winter K2 (2026).
