Biography
John Henderson is a British film and television director. He was born in 1949 in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England.
After leaving advertising, his first directing job was on the ITV series Spitting Image. His television credits include episodes of Shameless (2012), Benidorm (2010–2012), Hyperdrive (2006–2007), Spy (2012) and How Do You Want Me? (1998–1999). He also directed the 1999 Comic Relief Doctor Who sketch The Curse of Fatal Death.
Feature films he has directed include Loch Ness (1996), Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis (1997), Two Men Went to War (2002) and Mee-Shee: The Water Giant (2005). He co-wrote The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby (2005).
