Biography
John Holmquist is an American animator, director, designer and storyboard artist. He has directed numerous episodes of the animated series Family Guy since 2000, including 'Running Mates', 'Airport '07', 'Stewie Kills Lois' and many others through recent seasons.
Holmquist worked extensively with Klasky Csupo on Rugrats, serving as a director and character designer on multiple episodes from the 1990s into the early 2000s, as well as contributing to related projects. In 2003 he received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Program for his work on the series. His other credits include directing on Father of the Pride and storyboard or design work on films such as Despicable Me.
