Biography

John Richards is a Welsh film and television editor. He began his career in 1982 as an assistant editor at the BBC in Wales and at Ealing Film Studios, later working on documentaries and drama productions before becoming a picture editor.

Richards edited episodes of the miniseries Band of Brothers (2001). His other credits include Doctor Who (2005) and its special Doctor Who: The Runaway Bride (2006), It's a Boy Girl Thing (2006), Little Black Book (2004), Lost in Austen (2008), The Hippopotamus (2017) and The Miracle Maker (2000). He has received two wins and three nominations for his editing work.
