Biography
John Thomas is an American cinematographer, also credited as John A. Thomas. He was director of photography on Whit Stillman's debut feature Metropolitan (1990).
Thomas has collaborated repeatedly with Stillman, serving as cinematographer on Barcelona (1994) and The Last Days of Disco (1998). His other film credits include Freeway (1996), Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). He has worked on numerous television series, among them Law & Order, Gossip Girl, The Big C and Younger.
