Biography
John Tui is a New Zealand actor. He trained at Unitec's School of Performing and Screen Arts in Auckland and began his career in 2003.
Tui is known for his roles as Anubis "Doggie" Cruger in Power Rangers S.P.D. (2005) and Daggeron in Power Rangers Mystic Force (2006). His film credits include Battleship (2012), The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and Moana (2026) as Chief Tui. He also played Afa Anoa'i in the series Young Rock (2021–2023).
