Biography
John W. Wheeler is a film editor and member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE). He edited the feature film Star Trek: First Contact (1996).
His other editing credits include Rocky IV (1985), SpaceCamp (1986), Ladybugs (1992), The Parallax View (1974), The Onion Field (1979), Strange Invaders (1983) and Posse (1975). Wheeler received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Editing for a Miniseries or a Special for the television miniseries Separate but Equal (1991) and an Eddie Award nomination from the ACE.
He has collaborated with editor Tim Board on several projects and with director John Erman on television productions including Breathing Lessons (1994) and The Boys Next Door (1996). Later credits include work in the technology crew on the Disney animated features Mulan (1998) and Dinosaur (2000).
