Biography
Jolyon Coy is an English actor and writer. He was born on 9 March 1985 in Hammersmith, London, and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating in 2007.
His film roles include Philip Welch in The Deep Blue Sea (2011), Young Maurice in Beauty and the Beast (2017), an orderly in Testament of Youth (2014), and a deputy in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022). On television he has appeared as Edward Roberts in Peaky Blinders (2013), Kaisorov in War and Peace (2016), an imperial officer in Andor (2022), and Fabian Monkford in Midsomer Murders (2016).
Coy has an extensive stage career, with credits including productions at the Royal Court, the National Theatre, the Almeida and Shakespeare’s Globe.
