Biography
Jon Carlos is an American production designer working in film and television. Born on 22 February 1983 in San Francisco, California, he began his career in the art department and advanced through roles including assistant art director and art director on features such as Flight (2012), Furious 7 (2015) and War Dogs (2016).
He has served as production designer on the series Hacks (2021), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination, Westworld (2020–2022, credited as Jonathan Carlos), Palm Royale (2024–2026) and the film Unstoppable (2024). Carlos has earned multiple Primetime Emmy nominations and several wins, including Excellence in Production Design Awards.
