Biography
Jon Delgado is a cinematographer and director. Born in Madrid, Spain, he is the son of a Peruvian immigrant father. He studied film at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City and at City College in Harlem, New York.
He began his career in the camera and electrical department on films including Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999), 15 Minutes (2001), The Stepford Wives (2004), 16 Blocks (2006) and United 93 (2006). Delgado has served as director of photography on the television series Blindspot (2017–2019), God Friended Me (2019–2020), Raising Dion (2022), Stargirl (2022) and Law & Order (2024–2026). He has also directed the features King of Knives (2020) and Queen of Knives (2023).
