Biography
Jon Gary Steele is a production designer, also credited as Gary Steele. His film credits include American History X (1998), Cruel Intentions (1999), Burlesque (2010), Footloose (2011) and Odd Thomas (2013).
He studied architecture at the University of Arkansas before moving into film and television. Steele has worked extensively on the series Outlander (2014–2020) and The Sandman (2022), and received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for production design on Outlander.
