Biography

Jon Finn is a British film and television producer. He began his career in production roles, including as production coordinator on Orlando (1992). In 1996 he was appointed production executive at Working Title Films, and in 1999 co-founded its WT2 division with Natascha Wharton to support emerging UK talent.

Finn produced Billy Elliot (2000) with Greg Brenman; the film was WT2's first project. He later produced My Little Eye (2002), Hunky Dory (2011) and Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical (2022). He has also produced stage and screen versions of the Billy Elliot musical. Earlier credits include co-producing Plunkett & Macleane (1999) and producing the short film Eight (1998), which won the Jerwood Film Prize for Best Script and received a BAFTA nomination.
