Biography

Jonathan Paul Green is a British production designer born on 12 August 1965 in Ruislip, Middlesex. He studied Fine Art Sculpture at St Martin's School of Art from 1984 to 1987. His early career included puppet making on Spitting Image and other prop and model-making work.

Green began working as a production designer in his mid-twenties on Rory Bremner – Who Else? for Channel 4. He has designed sets for numerous comedy and entertainment series, including Brass Eye (1997), Green Wing (2004–2006), QI, Mock the Week and The Chase, as well as drama series such as Episodes (2013–2015), Fleabag (2016–2019) and Atlanta (2022). He has also worked on the feature film Sumotherhood (2023). Green received an RTS Craft Award nomination for production design on Green Wing and has won British Film Designers Guild awards.
