Biography
Jonathan Teplitzky is an Australian film and television director. His feature films include Better Than Sex (2000), Gettin' Square (2003), Burning Man (2011), The Railway Man (2013) and Churchill (2017). He also wrote the screenplay for Burning Man.
On television, Teplitzky has directed episodes of Broadchurch (series 2, 2015), Marcella (2016), Indian Summers (2015–2016), A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017–2019), A Discovery of Witches (2018–2021) and Origin (2018). In 1993 he won a BAFTA TV award for the BBC documentary A Vampire’s Life.
