Biography
Jordan Canning is a Canadian film and television director. She was born on 3 August 1982 in St John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and attended Concordia University in Montreal. She is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's Director's Lab.
Canning directed the independent features We Were Wolves (2014) and Suck It Up (2017). Her television credits include episodes of Schitt's Creek (2019–2020), Baroness von Sketch Show, Burden of Truth, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and The Big Door Prize. She was the first woman to direct episodes of This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
Her work has been recognised with two Canadian Screen Awards and a Directors Guild of Canada Award.
