Biography
Jordan Gelber is an American actor and singer. He originated the role of Brian in the Broadway musical Avenue Q (2003–2009) and appeared in the Broadway productions of All My Sons (2008) and Elf (2012) as Buddy. He has also performed in numerous off-Broadway productions and holds a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
On television, Gelber played Peter Rathman in the series MINDHUNTER (2017) and had a recurring role as Dr. Eugene Hawes in Elementary (2013–2019). His other credits include appearances in Mr. Robot (2015), Insatiable (2018), Boardwalk Empire (2010), The Blacklist (2013) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Film roles include The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009), Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead (2007) and Dark Horse (2011).
