Biography
José María Yazpik is a Mexican actor. Born in Mexico City in 1970, he trained at the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) of Televisa.
He is known for portraying Amado Carrillo Fuentes in the Netflix series Narcos (2017) and Narcos: Mexico (2018–2021). His film roles include Santiago in Madame Web (2024), Pritchenko in Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End (2024) and Vasquez in Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008). He won an Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actor for Las vueltas del citrillo (2006).
