Biography
Joy T. Lane is a television director. She began her career in the script and continuity department, working as a script supervisor on series including Blindspot (2015–2020).
Lane made her directing debut on Blindspot in 2019–2020. She has since directed episodes of Sweet Magnolias (2023), Power Book II: Ghost (2023–2024), Power Book III: Raising Kanan (2022–2023), Fire Country (2023), The Watchful Eye (2023), Law & Order (2023) and Average Joe (2023–2026). While working as a script supervisor, she was encouraged to direct by producer and director Darnell Martin.
