Biography

Julian Johnson (1885–1965) was an American writer and editor who worked primarily in silent cinema. Born in Chicago, he contributed titles and screenplays to numerous Paramount productions in the 1920s.

His credits include titles for The Docks of New York (1928) and The Patriot (1928), as well as Wings (1927) and The Four Feathers (1929). He also served as editor on films such as The Canadian (1926) and So's Your Old Man (1926). Johnson was married to actress Texas Guinan.
