Biography
Julius Tennon is an American actor and producer. A native of Austin, Texas, he attended the University of Tulsa on a football scholarship and became the first African American to graduate from its theatre department.
His screen credits include Dazed and Confused (1993), Friday Night Lights (2004), Get On Up (2014), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), The Woman King (2022) and Air (2023), in which he played James Jordan. He has also appeared in television series including Criminal Minds and How to Get Away with Murder. Tennon is married to actor Viola Davis; the couple co-founded the production company JuVee Productions.
