Biography
Jun'ichi Suwabe is a Japanese voice actor born on 29 March 1972 in Tokyo. He is affiliated with the agency Haikyō and has worked in voice acting since 1995.
He is known for roles including Shōta Aizawa in My Hero Academia (2016), Yami Sukehiro in Black Clover (2017), Shoei Baro in Blue Lock (2022), Masato Ukyo in Solo Leveling (2024), and Mulu-elu Galu-gu in the Godzilla films Planet of the Monsters (2017) and City on the Edge of Battle (2018). Other notable credits include Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen (2020) and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in Bleach (2004).
Suwabe received a Best Supporting Actor award at the 7th Seiyu Awards and a nomination for Best Singing Award at the 6th Seiyu Awards. He has also provided Japanese dubbing for live-action films and is a member of the group PHERO☆MEN with fellow voice actor Kōsuke Toriumi.
