Biography
Kae Alexander is a Japanese-born British actress. Born Kae Yukawa on 31 August 1985 in Kobe, Japan, she trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
She gained prominence as Jing Hua in the BBC sitcom Bad Education (2012–2014) and its 2015 film spin-off. Her television roles include Leaf in Game of Thrones (2016), Linh Xuan Huy in Collateral (2018), and Min Farshaw in The Wheel of Time (2021–). Film appearances include Reb in Ready Player One (2018), Ini in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019), Trace in Infinite (2021), Inez in Medusa Deluxe (2022), and Anna Ko in Black Bag (2025).
Alexander was named on the Evening Standard's 2017 list of Rising Stars and selected for BAFTA's initiative programme in 2019. She has also appeared in stage productions at the Royal Court, National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company.
