Biography
Kaniehtiio Horn, also credited as Tiio Horn, is a Canadian actress and filmmaker of Mohawk descent from the Kahnawake reserve. She graduated from Dawson College's Professional Theatre Program in 2005 and began appearing in film and television shortly afterwards.
She is known for her recurring role as Tanis in the comedy series Letterkenny (2016–2023), for which she won two Canadian Screen Awards, and as Deer Lady in Reservation Dogs (2021–2023). Other television credits include Hemlock Grove, The Man in the High Castle and Letterkenny spin-offs. Film roles include Mohawk (2017), Possessor (2020) and Alice, Darling (2022).
Horn made her feature directorial debut with the horror comedy Seeds (2024), for which she also wrote, produced and starred, winning a Directors Guild of Canada Award. She is the daughter of activist Kahentinetha Horn and half-sister of athlete and broadcaster Waneek Horn-Miller.
