Biography
Karen Duffy, also known as Duff, is an American actress, model and television personality. Born on 23 May 1962 in New York City, she studied recreational therapy at the University of Colorado Boulder before beginning her career in modelling and television commercials in the late 1980s.
She gained prominence as an MTV video jockey in the early 1990s. Her film roles include J.P. Shay in Dumb and Dumber (1994), Shay Stanley in Blank Check (1994), and the voice of Linda Otter in Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009). She has also appeared in Malcolm X (1992), Reality Bites (1994) and Celebrity (1998).
Duffy has written books about living with neurosarcoidosis, diagnosed in 1995, and has worked as a correspondent for Michael Moore's television programmes.
