Biography
Karen Nielsen is a Canadian writer, director and script coordinator. She wrote the episode 'Nothing Lasts Forever' for the 2018 revival of The X-Files, after working as script coordinator on the series' revival seasons from 2015 to 2018.
In 2016 Nielsen was selected as one of seven writers for the Canadian Film Centre's Bell Media Prime Time TV Writer's Program. She has served as script coordinator on series including The Last of Us (2023) and Schmigadoon! (2021), and has directed short films such as Grace (2015) and A Pickle (2008).
