Biography
Karen O, born Karen Lee Orzolek, is an American singer, songwriter and composer. She is the lead vocalist of the rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
She composed and performed the soundtrack for the film Where the Wild Things Are (2009), released as an album by Karen O and the Kids. She has also contributed to other film soundtracks and provided a voice for an episode of the television series Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! (2007).
Orzolek was born on 22 November 1978 in South Korea and raised in New Jersey. She has been married to director Barnaby Clay since 2011.
