Biography
Karen Young is an American actress. She was born on 29 September 1958 in Pequannock Township, New Jersey, and graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers University with a degree in English. After moving to New York City, she began her career with a role in the 1983 film Handgun.
Young is known for her film roles including Sue in Nine 1/2 Weeks (1986), Carla Brody in Jaws: The Revenge (1987), Sarah Crighton in Daylight (1996) and appearances in Birdy (1984) and Mercy (2000). On television she played FBI Agent Robyn Sanseverino in The Sopranos and several characters across the Law & Order franchise. Her stage credits include productions of A Lie of the Mind.
She was married to actor and director Tom Noonan from 1992 to 1999.
