Biography
Kate Phillips is a British actress. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her screen debut as Jane Seymour in the BBC miniseries Wolf Hall (2015). She later reprised the role in the sequel series Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light.
Phillips has appeared in the miniseries War & Peace (2016) as Lise Bolkonskaya, the first season of The Crown (2016) as Venetia Scott, and Peaky Blinders (2016–2022) as Linda Shelby. Her film roles include Princess Mary in Downton Abbey (2019) and Ioana Celibidache in The Yellow Tie (2025). Since 2020 she has played the lead role of Eliza Scarlet in the series Miss Scarlet and the Duke.
