Biography

Katherine Dover is an American costume designer. Born on 11 September 1954 in North Carolina, she has worked on numerous feature films and television productions since the 1980s, often credited under variations including K.D. Dover, Kathy Dover and Katherine 'K.D.' Dover.

Her credits as costume designer include Runaway Train (1985), Blind Fury (1989), Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection (1990), The Vagrant (1992) and Dazed and Confused (1993). She has also served as costume supervisor on projects such as DNA (1997) and The Neon Demon (2016).

Dover has discussed her approach to period costuming for Dazed and Confused, sourcing vintage clothing to reflect 1970s Texas high-school styles.
