Biography

Kathleen Kay was an American costume designer and actress. Born in New York on 19 May 1891, she worked in the wardrobe department at MGM from 1925 to 1927 and at Fox from 1927 to 1928.

She is credited as costume designer on 7th Heaven (1927) and Street Angel (1928), and provided wardrobe or costume work on numerous other silent films including Brown of Harvard (1926), Torrent (1926) and A Girl in Every Port (1928). She also appeared as an actress, including an uncredited role in The Kid (1921).

Kay was married to Bernard Abrahams. She died in Florida on 17 February 1982.
