Biography
Kathryn Givney was an American actress who worked in theatre and film. She made her Broadway debut in the 1920s and appeared in numerous stage productions through the 1940s, including Ballyhoo (1927), Nightstick (1927) and This, Too, Shall Pass (1946).
Her film career began in the early 1930s and continued into the 1960s. She is credited as Louise Eastman in A Place in the Sun (1951) and appeared in Operation Pacific (1951), Three Coins in the Fountain (1954), Daddy Long Legs (1955), Guys and Dolls (1955), From the Terrace (1960) and That Touch of Mink (1962). She also had roles in television series such as Perry Mason and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
