Biography
Katy Brand is an English actress, comedian and writer. Born on 13 January 1979 in Buckinghamshire, she studied at Keble College, Oxford, where she began writing and performing comedy.
She is known for creating and starring in the ITV2 sketch series Katy Brand's Big Ass Show (2007–2009), for which she won a British Comedy Award. Acting credits include Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010) as Miss Turvey and Peep Show (2003) as Lucy. As a writer, she wrote the screenplay for Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (2022) and co-wrote the screenplay for The Thursday Murder Club (2025) with Suzanne Heathcote.
