Biography
Kay Lenz is an American actress. Born Kay Ann Lenz on 4 March 1953 in Los Angeles, California, she began her career as a child performer, initially credited as Kay Ann Kemper. She appeared in American Graffiti (1973) as Jane and gained early recognition for the title role in Breezy (1973).
Lenz has worked extensively in television, with guest roles including Melissa on Moonlighting (1985), Sandy Sinclair in House (1985) and appearances in series such as MacGyver, ER, Bones and NCIS. She is known for recurring roles in Midnight Caller (1988–1989) and Reasonable Doubts (1991–1993). She won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for Midnight Caller and a Daytime Emmy Award.
