Biography
Kazuo Katō is a Japanese actor. He was born in Tokyo on 1 January 1928.
He is known for supporting roles in several films by Akira Kurosawa, including I Live in Fear (1955) as Susumu, High and Low (1963) as an identification centre worker, Dodes'ka-den (1970) as a painter and Ran (1985) as Kageyu Ikoma. Other credits include Goké, Body Snatcher from Hell (1968) as Dr Momotake.
