Biography

Keith Grant was a British recording engineer and sound technician. He began his career in the late 1950s and became a mainstay at Olympic Studios in London, where he worked with numerous rock and pop artists before specialising in orchestral and film scoring.

Grant is credited as music recordist on The Madness of King George (1994). His other film work includes sound on Jesus Christ Superstar (1973), for which he shared a BAFTA Award, and music department roles on Never Say Never Again (1983), The Fly (1986) and Ed Wood (1994). He received a BAFTA Gold Badge of Merit in 1997 and other industry honours.

Grant was born on 16 February 1941 in Norfolk, England, and died on 18 June 2012 in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey.
