Biography
Kem Nunn is an American novelist and television writer. He grew up in Pomona, California, and earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of California, Irvine.
Nunn is the author of six novels, including Tapping the Source (1984), a National Book Award finalist for first fiction, and Tijuana Straits, which received a Los Angeles Times Book Prize. He has also written for television, contributing to the third season of Deadwood (2006) and seasons of Sons of Anarchy. With David Milch, he co-created the HBO series John from Cincinnati (2007) and adapted his novel Chance for television (2016–2017).
