Biography

Ken Ledsham was a British production designer who worked extensively for the BBC from the 1960s onwards. He is credited as production designer on the 1990 BBC mini-series House of Cards, as well as its sequels To Play the King (1993) and The Final Cut (1995).

His other notable credits include production design on episodes of Doctor Who (including Destiny of the Daleks in 1979 and The King’s Demons in 1983), Blake’s 7 and Tenko. He received two BAFTA nominations for his work. Ledsham was born in 1943 in Wallasey, Merseyside, and died in July 2025.
