Biography
Kendrick Sampson (born 8 March 1988) is an American actor and activist. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and developed an interest in acting at the age of ten. He performed in theatre productions while attending Elkins High School and later trained at the Kim Terry Studio before moving to Los Angeles.
Sampson is known for recurring and regular roles in television, including Jesse in The Vampire Diaries (2013), Caleb Hapstall in How to Get Away with Murder (2014–2016), Dominic Lanse in The Flash (2017–2018), and Nathan Campbell in Insecure (2018–2021). His film work includes Miss Juneteenth (2020) as Ronnie and Something from Tiffany's (2022) as Ethan Greene. He plays Quincy Jones in the 2026 film Michael.
Sampson is the founder of the activist organisation BLD PWR, which focuses on issues including criminal justice reform and mental health in Black communities.
