Biography
Kenneth Haigh was an English actor. He first came to prominence as Jimmy Porter in the original 1956 Royal Court Theatre production of John Osborne's Look Back in Anger. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Haigh's screen credits include the role of Brutus in Cleopatra (1963), an uncredited appearance in A Hard Day's Night (1964), and the lead in the television series Man at the Top (1970–72) and its 1973 film spin-off. He also portrayed Richard Francis Burton in the BBC series The Search for the Nile (1971) and Napoleon in Eagle in a Cage (1972).
Born in Mexborough, Yorkshire, Haigh died in London in 2018.
