Biography
Kenneth Ives (26 March 1934 – 6 March 2022) was a British actor and television director. He began his career as an actor, appearing in the 1968 film The Lion in Winter as Queen Eleanor's Guard and in television series including Doctor Who (1968) and The First Churchills (1969).
He later worked primarily as a director, with credits on episodes of Play for Today (1970s), Secret Army (1977), All Creatures Great and Small (1978) and Poldark (1975), as well as BBC productions of plays by Harold Pinter and August Strindberg for the Theatre Night strand in the 1980s.
