Biography

Viktors Ritelis is a director. He was born on 10 December 1937 in Riga, Latvia.

He directed episodes of British television series including The Sweeney (1975), Colditz (1972–1974), Secret Army (1977–1979), The Aphrodite Inheritance (1979) and Blake's 7 (1981). He also directed the feature film Crucible of Horror (1971). Later in his career he worked in Australia, directing episodes of A Country Practice (1987–1989), Home and Away (1988), E Street (1989–1992), Echo Point (1995) and 426 episodes of Breakers (1998–1999). He has also been credited as Victor Ritellis.
